Online Registration is closed. On-site registration will be available from 5 to 5:30pm on race day payable by cash or check only.

Run/walk a 5k on the scenic trail along Goose Creek to  support an important cause. Commit to Be Fit is a family-oriented event whose purpose is to promote healthy living for all citizens of the region by facilitating its inaugural race in the heart of Manchester, KY, where healthy choices are limited and chronic health related illnesses occur much too frequently. Experienced runners and casual walkers are welcome to join their fellow Kentuckians in participating in this important event.  

The Commit to Be Fit 5k is a foot race, only those who run or walk may participate. The route is mostly level and has a mixture of fast and moderately rugged terrain. The route contains a both paved and gravel surfaces. Strollers, bicycles, rollerskaters or other wheeled devices will not be able to participate.

All proceeds from the race will go to "Healthy Clay", a non-profit organization in Manchester who seeks to find heathy options for the community.

Special recognition: For each participant entering this race as their first ever 5K (either running or walking), there will be a special prize awarded upon finishing.  Prizes awared to top male and female finishers in each age division.

Participants registered by 07/21/2012 are guaranteed a t-shirt.  Walk-up registration accepted on day of race at Clay County Middle School.
